EKOProfit or Increasing environmental awareness of SMEs is the joint activity of the Slovak Republic and Austria. The aim is to help SMEs to improve their relationships towards environment and at the same to decrease their operational costs.

Austrian experts help to the entrepreneurs to find a possible energy and waste savings, to decrease operational costs and to teach them how to protect the environment.

Companies from Bratislava and Trnava region can be involved if:

• They are interested in the possibilities to decrease their costs that are connected to the services in the area of environment,
• They are not certified with ISO 14001 and they wish to have such a certificate.

Project EKOProfit Bratislava is intended primarily for SMEs operating in industrial production and services that would like to gain a wide overview on how to save energy, resources and to implement concrete measures. SMEs involved in the project will receive free individual consultations and assistance in improving their relationship towards environment what will lead to the decrease of operational costs at the same time.
