Small and medium enterprises often encounter a difficult access to credit facilities in the commercial banks to finance business plans. Microloan programme is compare to the conditions in the bank set up in a way that as much businesses as possible can get it. Through such support the survival rate of small businesses increases and thus conditions for employment maintenance as well the creation of new jobs in the regions of Slovakia are created.
The loan was as well drawn by a businessman from Trnava, who is co-owner of Club Drop. The company started 8 years ago as a pioneer in a swimming for infants and toddlers in Trnava. Today, Club Drop with its two branches in Kopanka is a leader in the children's swimming in Slovakia and extends its business to physical activity for children and AquaPrenatal, for these activities meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. From the initiative of the Club Drop, Association of friends of physical activities of children in the aquatic environment – Water babies, was established.
Company needed the loan to finance the construction of swimming pools. "During our beginnings, we needed business loan, so that we could build swimming pools for children. We would not receive a bank loan from a commercial bank that time. We have drawn the microloan from the SBA twice. This is how we could open both branches according to the plan and thanks to a business - friendly conditions of the credit to timely repay it," says co-owner of the Club Drop, Ing. Peter Krajčovič.
