V4 platform was created for promoting and sharing all the interesting information presented at the conference V4 Going Global implemented by 19 November 2014 at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava, organized by the Slovak Business Agency in cooperation with partners. But not only that its objective is to promote business cooperation between SMEs from the V4 countries on the one hand and Japan, Moldova, Georgia and Albania on the other.
The aim of V4 Platform

to provide valuable information about the perspectives of doing business in Japan, Moldova, Georgia and Albania:
- to get an overview of the entrepreneurship
- to get contacts for organizations and institutions to promote entrepreneurship and innovation
- share best practices of V4 companies operating in these countries
V4 Going Global conference
In November 2014, Slovak Business Agency (SBA) in collaboration with partners conducted a one-day international conference V4 Going Global held at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava and was intended to promote business cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises of the V4 countries and Japan, Moldova, Georgia and Albania. Moreover, it let entrepreneurs, business and innovation organizations, state and non-state institutions, financial institutions, the media and academics to meet and share experiences with doing business in these countries.
Outcomes of this conference contributed to the creation of an informal platform V4 to obtain an overview of the business in these countries, for sharing their experiences and recommendations for the expansion of these markets.
The event was been held thanks to support from the International Visegrad Fund , the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and the Embassy of Japan in Bratislava.

The event was held at the occasion of the Global Entrepreneurship Week due on 17th – 23rd November 2014, the V4+Japan Exchange Year 2014 as well as the Slovak V4 Presidency.
