Slovak Business Agency annually produces and publishes report on the state of small and medium enterprises in the Slovak Republic. The subject of the report is a description of the development and the situation for SMEs in Slovakia as well as an assessment of support instruments, the identification of problems and the proposing of recommendations for improving conditions for SMEs. Along with utilization for the Ministry of the Economy of the Slovak Republic as the sponsoring department for the area of the business environment, a Work group for the problems of Small Business Act, other central bodies of state administration, academic institutions, entrepreneurs and the broad public, the document also serves as the foundation for activities of the SME Envoy who for Slovakia is the Director of the Slovak Business Agency.
