The partners of the consortium of the RE-FEM project aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs, funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme, officially launched their cooperation and met in person for the first time during the Kick-off meeting on 15 and 16 December 2022 in Bratislava. The two-day meeting, hosted by the Slovak Business Agency (SBA), was attended by representatives of 8 organisations involved in the project: the SEED Foundation (Hungary), Andalucía Emprende Fundación Pública Andaluza (Spain), Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania (Romania), Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovations (Bulgaria), Mihajlo Pupin Institute (Serbia), Brand-Sofi (Finland) and the Slovak Business Agency (Slovakia), led by the HÉTFA Research Institute from Hungary.
The main objective of the meeting was to establish a project management framework and lay the foundations for good cooperation. After the welcome and opening of the meeting by the representatives of the host partner SBA, on the first day, the project partners had the opportunity to introduce their organisations and their role in the project. Subsequently, the main objectives and the overall project timetable were presented. The responsible partners also presented their ideas on implementing the individual project activities. Within the individual agenda items, the meeting also provided space for questions and broader discussion. Project partners also suggested some dates for further project meetings and planned events. They concluded the first day of the meeting with a joint dinner. The project partners dealt with project management and budgeting on the second meeting day.
The project partners have had two days of discussions and inspiration on bringing the most support and added value to the planned project outputs for women entrepreneurs.
